Director
A science student, but with a strong passion to help mentally disturbed persons, I entered into a field which combined both – science of the brain and mental health and psychotherapy. I am a certified practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). My commitment to continuing professional development, with my career experience at ASV and qualifications in NLP, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Hypnotherapy, Rational Emotive Therapy, Cognitive Behavior therapy, Reality Therapy etc allows me to confidently and capably provide the necessary healing for troubled minds. Have put in 28 years of service with ASV as a psychotherapist and have grown personally and professionally over these years. I have also put in a month’s practice at the Connect Therapeutic Community in Birmingham, UK. In my current role as Director of ASV, I use a recovery-oriented model of service and client participation as an important part of the program activities. I consistently evaluate interventions and initiatives using outcome measures and adjust my program depending on changes to my clients’ health, environment and circumstances. Also provide teaching & training to staff teams & college students.
